Highlights Week of March 14
Our second week was closed working with our teens with a set of interviews to different people from HUMAN. We were enriched with their lessons. Besides training our students listening ability, we also exposed them to interesting reflections like:
* Every day is a blank page which can be used to draw the most beautiful pictures.
* When we buy something, we are not buying it with money, we are buying it with the time we used to earn that money.
* You can always pick yourself up again as it is always worth it to start from scratch again.
* Either you are happy with very little, without all that extra luggage or you don't get anywhere.
We dealt with values such as: hard work, sobriety, simplicity, freedom, fight for the common good, resilience...

Cerramos nuestra segunda semana trabajando con los adolescentes con estos vídeos de HUMAN que nos enriquecieron con sus lecciones. Además de haber entrenado la habilidad de comprender inglés oralmente, nuestros alumnos en estas clases estuvieron expuestos a reflexiones como las siguientes:
* Cada día es una página blanco que podemos llenar con los dibujos más hermosos.
* Cuando compramos algo, no lo compramos con dinero, lo compramos con el tiempo que utilizamos para ganar ese dinero.
* Puedes siempre volverte a levantar ya que vale la pena siempre un nuevo comienzo.
* O sos feliz con poco, liviano de equipaje, o no llegas a ningún lado.
Valores como: el trabajar duro, la sobriedad, la simpleza, el luchar por lo que uno quiere, la libertad, el trabajar por el bien común, la resiliencia fueron resultados con estos vídeos de gente conocida que compartió sus experiencias de vida.

With all our groups, after having listened to the song "Feel better when I'm dancing" which was shared in our last post, we reflected on the importance of knowing when we are not feeling ok and doing something to feel better. Every student shared their strategies on our main board.

Con todos los grupos, después de escuchar la canción "Feel better when I'm dancing" que les compartimos en nuestro post anterior, reflexionamos sobre la importancia de saber identificar cuando no estoy bien y saber entonces que hacer con ese estado para poder estar mejor. Todos nuestros alumnos lo compartieron en nuestra cartelera principal que es la que ven en esta foto.

And finally, another highlight of the week was with Young Learners 3. During an introductions activity about themselves and the characters of the book this year, the Importance of accepting the differences of every one of us was dealt with. To exploit the topic we read Todd Parr's book : IT's OK TO BE DIFFERENT. And we will continue this coming week as well.

Y finalmente, otro highlight de la semana para compartir es con Young Learners 3, (Viole, Luli, Estefi, Jazmín, Berni, Peter, Balta, Nico, Según and Hilario). En un trabajo de presentación de cada uno de ellos y también sobre los personajes del libro que trabajaremos este año, surgió el tema de la
Importancia de aceptar las diferencias de cada uno. Para explotar esto, trabajamos y seguiremos haciéndolo esta semana próxima, con el libro de Todd Parr: IT's OK TO BE DIFFERENT.
Participaron todos de manera entusiasta contribuyendo con hermosas ideas.
